![]() ![]() I uninstalled Vmware workstation 7 thinking that was the issue. I thought it was my dual video cards so I disabled the graphics switching capability in the the bios and ran only the ATI. When I was finally able to load vmware tools, I still had the same issue. Well, after the issues I had, I too thought it was vmware tools. I even loaded the MS keyboard/mouse software thing that was the issue. The touchpad did the same thing and a usb cabled mouse reacted the same way. I do have a Microsoft wireless setup with a laser mouse 5000 and a 4000 comfort keyboard. I could not get the mouse to line up or even work correctly at all. ![]() I experienced the erratic mouse and even sometimes keyboard behaviour with existing vm’s and with new vm’s I created. I had AV loaded so I thought something may conflict during the install so I unloaded AV first. ![]() After a clean install of Windows 7, I loaded Vmware workstation 7. Lenovo W500 (dual graphics cards - ATI and Intel), SSD hard drives, Windows 7 enterprise 圆4 and VMWare Workstation 7. Without trying to sound long winded, the simple answer appears to have to do with Windows 7 display visuals.specifically AERO. So I think I may have stumbled on to something here. ![]()
